Daily update

Hi there,

Sorry it is so late in the day, I was having some much needed ‘me time’.

I hope you have all had an enjoyable day!

I really appreciated my friends today hence the theme of today’s ‘thought of the day’.  I was having a bad day with regards to my pain and was struggling with my little ones, I was feeling quite low and apprehensive about a forthcoming Gastroscopy procedure and then two of my friends arrived for coffee.  My boys had somebody to play with down on their level, I had some adult conversation and good company and when they left I felt rested, cared for and happier than I have been for a few days.

The love of friends is SO important, especially if you are almost housebound.

On the writing front – my 3rd assignment has now been posted.

On the 29th of March I will be starting my own book club from home and will begin a new page dedicated to this.  This page will include what we have chosen to read for each month, what happens in each meeting, what points we discussed and a book review, if you wish to leave your own comments during the month I will post some suggested discussion points for your perusal and will use your comments in the book club when we meet.  The first book we will look at is going to be Room by Emma Donoghue, I have already read this book but will be reading it again for the book club as I think it is a good starting book for the group.  First set of discussion points will be posted under ‘book club’ on or around March 29th.

Bye for now
