Tired is definitely not the word
I do not think I have ever been as tired as I am right now after having had just 1 and a half hours sleep out of the last 39. I still have to try to function for the sake of the three boys. Thankfully Robbie seems to be a little better now, 24 hours after the emergency call out to the ambulance service last night. He is in bed sleeping relatively calmly, still breathing fast and shallow but he isn’t fighting for every breath now. The steroids have obviously got into his system now and his 2 hourly inhaler seems to be keeping the wheeze just about at bay.
Louis and Josh are both very clingy tonight, probably because I had to go to the hospital with Robbie and they didn’t know when we would be home. I got home by taxi at 2.30 am so I was here for them when they woke up. I was so pumped up on the natural adrenaline of worry for your child that I couldn’t sleep when I got home although I did manage a nap this afternoon.
I therefore have done no writing or reading in the last two days but may be up to something light tomorrow if I can get a few hours sleep.
Just received a book from bestsellersworld.com which they would like me to review so I must finish reading The Binding by L Filloon and review it so I can begin the advance copy of Skip Rock Shallows by Jan Watson, this is her 6th novel.
I will keep you updated as and when I can over the next week while Robbie is ill, I apologise in advance if I miss writing any daily posts or thoughts of the day.
