Daily post for Mon 14th May 2012
Hi all,
I have had a busy, busy, busy day, how about you?
First of all was the mad rush to get everybody ready to leave the house at the right times. Josh left first at 8.15 to get his school bus, then at 8.25 I took Louis and Robbie to the babysitter’s and finally I readied myself for my taxi at 8.40.
I proceeded to Peterborough City Hospital for my MRI scans, I laid perfectly still as instructed for the 45 minutes of banging and clanging and re-emerged from the ‘tube’ extremely stiff and sore.
Then I realised that I had left my mobile phone at home so couldn’t ring my friend to pick me up, aaarrgh! This meant I had to book another taxi, doubling the expense. I arrived back at my friend’s house at 11.40 just in time to bring Robbie home before she had to go pick Louis up from nursery for me.
Louis arrived home from nursery in a bit of a grump because he had been helping with the gardening but hadn’t been allowed to dig – aaaw!
I fed myself and the two boys then their dad arrived to take them out. Louis wanted to go to the local indoor play area but Phil still doesn’t feel confident taking them both on their own so muggins here went with them.
2 hours later after watching Louis run around all over and drive toy cars and cuddling the baby every time Phil wanted to help Louis I was shattered. Whilst there I booked a birthday party for Louis and Robbie on the 2nd June – it will be Louis’ 3rd birthday on 23rd May and Robbie’s’ 1st birthday on 16th June.
We arrived back home at 3.45, both boys fast asleep, I then made chilli con carne for tea. At 4.15 Joshua arrived home from school – so no rest time for me today.
As you can see I have had very little time to read anything today but I hope to relax with a book later.
I hope you have had a little less excitement in your day.
Take care.
Adele
