500 followers giveaway

Apparently rafflecopter doesn’t work on wordpress.com sites.
I will have to try to run this giveaway myself.

I would like to run a giveaway to thank all my followers, I am now up to 510, for surpassing the 500 followers milestone I am proposing to give away 2 of the books I bought for myself to read and review. I will buy them again for myself.
The two prizes are:
Fifty shades of Grey by E L James
We need to talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver

I wish you to leave a comment below this post stating what you like about my blog and what you would like to see more of or something different you would like me to add as a regular feature.

The comments will all be acknowledged and assigned a number in the order the comments are posted. At the end of the giveaway period I will use a random number generator to pick 2 numbers, these will be the winning comments. You may leave more than one comment if you wish as long as they are all different.

The giveaway will run from now until 9pm EST on Sunday 24 June 2012.
The winning entrants will be notified on a post to be published on Monday 25 June 2012. If you follow my blog by email you will receive this post straight to your inbox and if you are the lucky winners you will have one week to reply by email with your postal address. If you do not reply within the stated week I will generate another winner.

I will open this giveaway internationally as I know many of my followers do not live in the UK and I will post via the cheapest option.

If this giveaway is a success I will repeat it when I have 1000 followers, with different prizes of course.

Good luck.

  1. Adele, your webiste is full of interesting news, facts, reviews and soon interviews. I like the outlay and presentation, well done!

  2. Hi your reviews on reading books are very good. It’s nice to see you talk about your love for your children. It makes a change to read that there are other peope out there with the same sort of problems. Good luck with book club. Take care.xxx

  3. Adele – this is the first time I’ve visited your blog. I particularly like the book reviews! I’m really impressed that you’ve got over 500 followers. What’s your secret!?

    • Hello and thank you for visiting.
I check your own blog out regularly as you post some really good yourself.
I am pleased you like my book reviews, I will be starting author interviews this week as well.
I think maybe my secret is that I blog almost every day and that adelesymonds is quite a unique name so when it is googled I am always first on the list, also good use of tags for google search results as well. A lot of people seem to find me from search engines.
Thank you for entering my giveaway, you are in with a good chance as you are only the 3rd entry.
      Good luck
