Book review – Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I read the e-book copy
This is a classic that many of you will have already read.
I love the language in this book and the way it transported you back in time, the descriptive work was awesome.
All the character’s were totally different and easy to distinguish and the author really sucks you into caring about what happens to Elizabeth.
There are twists to the male character’s which are quite unexpected and a fair share of positive and not so positive outcomes makes the book very realistic.
This would have been a very shocking book when it was written.
The style is beautiful, it flows well and brings images to mind, if I can see the story as I read it then that to me is the mark of a good book and author.
If you have never dipped into the classics this is as good a place to start as any. You would be hard-pressed to choose a better book.
Star rating 5/5 – I loved it.
