Deirdre Marie Capone – follow up article

As a follow up to my recent post with Deirdre Marie Capone I thought you may like to know of the following taken from her newsletter:

My book, Uncle Al Capone, just had its second printing. I am very happy for the response since I do not have an agent nor a major publisher behind me.

My book is available in speciality venues such as the Alcatraz Island book store, Eastern State Penetentiary book store, The Mob Museum in Las Vegas, The Mob Experience in Las Vegas, The Mob Tour in Chicago, The Chicago History Museum, The American Gangster Museum in New York, The Gangster Museum in Hot Springs, Barnes & Noble stores in Chicago, Costco online and in stores in Chicago plus online retailers everywhere.

In Chicago on December 5th, the Chicago History Museum will hold a gala. December 5th is the date Prohibition ended in the United States. I will be the guest of honor at that event. On Saturday December 1st I will be signing books in the Costco store in Lincoln Park, Chicago and on Saturday December 8th I will be signing books at the Costco in Melrose Park Chicago. Please come!

The audio version of my book is finished and will be available for sale before Christmas.  It is a 7 CD book and it is very good. I worked with a professional voice impersonator to read each Al Capone quote in my book in my uncle Al’s voice. He did it perfectly. You can hear an example of his voice on my website
