One year Blogoversary

Well hello again my friends.

A year has passed since I began this blog, my first post was on Feb 29 2012 so I don’t officially get an anniversary until 2016.  I didn’t know whether to post this yesterday or today.

My blog has developed over the last year and has grown, there have been some hiccups during that time due to my health but overall I am happy with my blogging experience and eager to continue with its development and growth.

I have had over 9100 views in my first year which is awesome and I have a following of almost 1000 people, where are you all, give me a wave?  Without people to read what I write there would be no point in running a blog.

I began by concentrating on book reviews but things have moved on a little since those early days.  I still do book reviews and I probably always will but the number I am able to do in one week has decreased.  I like being able to promote upcoming and new releases by Independent Authors and I enjoy interviewing authors if I have read their book as this adds a more personal flavour to a review.

I do not offer writing advice and tips as I don’t feel qualified to do so, I have written very little myself and have not written a novel.

I would love more feedback on what I do publish on here, comments will be replied to, and I welcome suggestions for future posts.

I am also branching out with my new venture, I am offering services in proofreading and copy editing as you will have seen in an earlier post if you are a regular visitor.

I am pleased with my first year as a blogger and I hope you will continue to follow me as my blogging journey continues.

TaTa for now!
