Daily post for Mon 26th March 2012

Hi all,

I have had a good day today, hope you have too. 

My marked assignment N3 dropped through my letter box just as my carer came to help me have a bath.  All I wanted to do was rip it open and explore my tutors feedback but I had to wait.  When I finally got round to reading it I was not disappointed, the comments about the book reviews and readers letters which I had submitted were very positive, with some minor corrections to 4 of the 9 pieces of work.  I was very pleased.

I now have assignments 4 and 5 to work on.  These are very similar assignments – N4 entails writing readers letters and fillers, N5 entails writing 1 readers letter and an interview of a local celebrity.  Both involve market research of 3 consecutive copies of the magazines which I in. tend to send my work to.  I am aiming for submission dates to my tutor of June and September respectively.

Other news from today – I have submitted my article about Asperger’s Syndrome to The Guardian (Family supplement) today via e-mail, fingers crossed.

I have had the rest of my living room wallpaper stripped and a team are coming in at 9 in the morning to re-paper and paint the ceiling, exciting times.

I even managed to grab a 2 hour nap this afternoon while the father of my 2 youngest was babysitting, I finally feel refreshed.
